Wild Wood

Woke up this morning to everything covered in frost , and Ben Wyvis the most dominating Munro in my area covered in snow but as the morning wore on and the sun came out it turned into a beautiful crisp clear day perfect for walking. So my daughter and I and her dog Spencer headed up into the woods and along some forest tracks. We came a cross a mass of tiny mushrooms which looked like a little village for fairy people in amongst all the old tree fell. A couple of deer darted out of the wood and headed across the fields much to Spencers astonishment and after lots of photographs we headed back for a well earned cuppa.
