Something to treasure

Here's a map of a treasure island. Not just any treasure island, mind. This is the map that Matthew's grandad handed down to him, from his days as a pirate.

This may come as something of a surprise to Bob, Matthew's former train driving grandad. And, although my dad was a merchant sailor, I don't recall seeing any parrots round our house.

One of Matthew's classmates, Amber, asked him to draw this map and then she created the tale of his salty old grandfather.

Matt says his popularity rating in class has soared as a result. They're probably all scared he'll keel-haul them if they don't share their sweets with him.
