Bird Feeding

Wasn't a day to go out.  What started as rain, turned to snow mid morning and soon there was a covering of snow in the garden.  

I always make a point of putting food out for the birds during the winter and this Great Tit was collecting sunflower seeds at regular intervals.  He expertly extracted a seed with his beak before heading back to a convenient branch, lodging the seed under one of his claws and then chipping away at it.
