Blue, white, green

According to the paper today, north-west Europe is suffering a dark winter, one of the darkest winters since records began. There  was a marked shortage of sunshine during December and January does not look to be much better. Comparing the average number of hours of sunshine in January with what has happened so far this month, it would seem that we are all missing out on hours of sunshine.
