Bitter oranges

The trees are laden with bitter oranges in the parks and streets near home.
I know I could make marmalade with them. I tried once and it was too much work and the result was not satisfying.
But the view of the fruit in the trees on clear winter days like today is wonderful.
It was a perfect day for a walk
