A Very Isolated Lame Duck

It was sunny so off to Kladow .Fine until I saw this duck had come to sit by me. Most curious and then I realized all was not well. The right foot & leg were 'damaged'. On trying to stand and hop she kept falling. It upset me and how I missed the RSPCA. As luck would have it she could fly Swimming was not strong .We met up again and still she was all by herself .On giving her some duck food which she enjoyed the other ducks came and pecked at her. That is when I caught her in flight .A local man and his young son had seen it happen last week when a swan crushed the foot.
Witnessed such in Manchester when a swan mangled a goose . Have attached a very mini film of this lovely bird.
