Fire and snow

One of our neighbours had his Mercedes car torched last night. (see extra photo)
 
Now in some areas of Glasgow that would be unremarkable but in Bridge of Allan it’s the talk of the town.
 
A neighbour saw flames coming from the car just before midnight and alerted the Fire Brigade.
 
The owner was asleep and knew nothing about it until the emergency services knocked on his door.
 
Fortunately the petrol tank did not go off or it would have made a nasty explosion.
 
Police rushed to assure us  today it was a targeted attack and not to be afraid.
 
Meanwhile a man has been caught on CCTV because the house, a new built mansion, had top of the range security.
 
And all afternoon there has been a steady stream of sightseers. After all it’s not everyday a car gets torched in Bridge of Allan.
 
As one sightseer said:” He must have got some serious enemies.”
 
And just up the road locals enjoy a winter wonderland on the golf course.
