Dreamer

Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer.
Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!
I said, dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer.
Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no!
I said, far out, what a day, a year, a life it is!
You know, well, you know you had it comin' to you.
Now there's not a lot I can do.
Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer //...
If I could see somethin' You can see anything you want, boy.
If I could be someone Well, you can be anyone, celebrate, boy.
Well, if I could do something You can do something.
If I could do anythin' But can you do somethin' out of this world?

Read an intriguing essay today by one Henric Borgström in the morning paper!
He made an important point regarding the setting of wages rates. Regarding the impossibility to change the absurd valuation of work. People working within health care and education have the lowest wages, in the middle we find people who work with gadgets and on top of the pyramid we find people who work with money!

Continuing by observing that the supply of labour within the financial sector is big due to many students of economy don´t want anything else than sitting behind flickering screens mirroring valuable papers or trying to apply theoretical models of how much companies actually are worth. The demand for labour is today, during the crises, non-existing and it was not that big even before its outbreak. According to the theories of the functioning of the market economy, the wages thereby ought to be very low in the service of money! Ok! Then it must be about these finance puppies being extraordinary skilful, when they are topping the wages leagues. But it's right here on the most important area concerning the handling of money that the failure is seen, everything from the highest bank managers as we see at the top of the wages leagues down to the customer advisors behind the marble counters.

There must of course be an explaination for the finance people having been sailing through half a millennium with the highest wages, it´s asserted that they function as a lubricant for the economy so that the capital is sent to where it can be used in the best way!? And the public who are paying are blinded by their wish to earn some further crowns/pounds/dollars/yens on value advance. That's why the finance people are earning more than the technicians! Give it a thought if the technicians would fail that completely that the whole societal machinery was threatened?

Still the finance people are allowed to climb further towards the highest wages while the health care personnel and the school people continues in the the low wages league. Left is the unanswered question about why we don't give most to the them who takes care of our near and dear and educates our children? Dreamer: well, if I could do something You can do something.
