Unobservant?

I don't know how long it's been since Chris Hoy won his gold, but I only just noticed his postbox when standing next to it today!

Went to the blood donor centre today to give blood, first time since I had my tablets for my anemia. The nurse that saw me looked at my form and said "oh! you have baby blood!" so there's some stuff in my blood that I don't have (should probably look it up) and as well as being O neg, means my blood is given to new born babies, which is rather lovely to know! Or like Alastair said, they say that to everyone to encourage more frequent donations ;-)

After being very late thanks to my arm being too eager to give more blood after they'd removed the needle, we met up with Ruth to discuss wedding photography, which is very exciting, and I know she'll do a great job :-) if i've learnt one thing, it's that Alastair doesn't have a clue about wedding photo's!
