Looking Up!

I joined some members of Buckingham Camera Club for a Photo walk in the City of London. A great deal of planning and preparation had gone into the route and photo opportunities for abstract architecture but, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate; it rained in various degrees all day.  Although we did our best, the sky was a constant white with the clouds obscuring the tops of the buildings, and any lens pointing up was in serious risk of being coated with raindrops. 

There were plans to go on to see some of the London Lumiere sites but several of us headed for the stations and home. It was  a very sociable day and we could all see the potential in shots  - I will definitely return another time to these amazing and quirky buildings
