Lamps, bikes and cigarettes

I moved into a temporary flat for the month of September. This was the view from the 3rd floor looking down on the street. I wondered how many attempts it had taken to get that many cigarette butts in the light fixture and liked that I'd been privvy to the fact that someone had even tried.
