Bird's-Eye View

Nick lives here -- rather a surprising location for a parrot, wouldn't you say? He's a rather charming fellow, despite the warning sign.

After four long days of being housebound with this cold (still not gone, but on its way), even a trip to the car repair shop sounded exciting today. Phil's 1991 Isuzu Trooper had been there for several days, and was ready to be picked up. He hadn't mentioned that there was a parrot in the shop's waiting area, so it was a pleasant surprise to see this colorful bird and realize that I had an unusual blip subject before me.

Hedging my bets, I also stopped at Lake Padden Park on the way home and shot some scenics, but it was easy to see that Nick was more colorful -- no "Dramatic Tone" needed here!
