Today I took my opportunity to climb up the Campsies above Strathblane to see Jenny's Lum up close. A small stream flows from high up on the plateau and cascades down through a rock chimney 20 metres high. When the wind blows directly up-hill, the water blasts up the chimney and has the appearance of smoke when seen form the village below.

This shot captures the top of Jenny's Lum with Loch Lomond in the distance. Not a bad view to get as a reward for a 60 minute hike form my front door.
