When the Boat Comes In

After a long walk up High Spy we caught the last steamer to Keswick. We are waiting for the boat at 5pm on a day of lovely weather, so lovely that as darkness descended over Keswick a couple of hours later the Northern Lights could be seen. There was a good photo in the Guradian next day. Unfortunately by that time we were in the Dog and Gun so we only saw the Aurora Beerialis.
