Wind-On Frame Of The King Of Beers

Back in the days of 35mm film you often got an extra frame at the beginning of the roll as you fired the shutter to wind the film to the first frame. More often than not it would be a fuzzy picture of your camera bag or a pair of feet standing in a puddle in the Glasgow rain. This image is the digital equivalent of a wind-on shot taken after I popped into my local German bar (local because it's the nearest to home) for a quick pint on my way home. I intended to shoot some flags against a setting sun but this frame must have fired as I prepared the camera. It's very appropriate since this is my favourite beer. If only there was a sign for a fine Chateuneuf De Pape or meaty Barolo.
