Love locks...

...starting to thaw! This is the observation deck at Grant Park & it overlooks this part of the Lake. When I was here last week, all the of the chain link (& therefore the love locks)were covered in different ice formations, but now only the very end point of the link fencing still has ice. Normally that fence is at waist height, but it was below my knees when I stood there, so you can tell how much the ice has built up on top of the deck as well. Very mild today, temperature wise, but very foggy, dismal & grey with rain on the way. Either the rain will melt much of what's left of the snow and ice, or the temperature will plummet and we'll be covered in ice.....only time will tell! :))
