Supernumeration

Took the dog for a mammoth walk to try and tire him out before going to the kennel tomorrow. Things with Julia have been wonderful, a bond has grown and I won't be leaving Bordeaux thinking our book has been finished.
This was about hour 4 into the walk. My original mission had been to walk across the Pont d'Aquitane but I soon found out that all pedestrian traffic is now prohibited, even though the footpath remains, so we went to Bordeaux Lac instead. There had been rainbows on the walk out as well, just a few degrees off the horizon, all lovely stuff, but I liked the contrast in this. I'd been wanting to take Julia to one of the restaurants or bars along the Quai. Maybe one day.
