Birthday-swans returning

Today is my birthday-I am grateful for my 62 years-every one.

I bought this card for my uncle whose health is failing and whose life is reaching its end. He is like a swan returning to the Loch, as this card depicts.

I bought it at the fabulous bookshop in Aberfeldy where we spent an hour or so this afternoon, just chilling. I also bought a Wild guide to Scotland-hidden places, great adventures and the good life.

All of these will be possible (I hope) in our new campervan, which we are picking up on Tuesday.

We are fortunate to be having a wee break in Kenmore for my birthday and look forward to tomorrow’s walk in the Birks of Aberfeldy.
