Arbutus andrachne

Well I'm a bit gobsmacked to discover that I have never yet blipped a strawberry tree while it is in simultaneous flower and fruit, but there is still time. I have however previously blipped our neighbours' bark-shedding tree here. On our boundary with another neighbour we have one of each side by side and the taller bark-shedding tree has just dropped a branch which we have rescued and are trying to decide what to do with it. Trying to find out what it is has got me very excited, whist the Strawberry tree is an Arbutus which grows in Ireland, this bark-shedding beauty seems to be specific to Greece.
