The Early Bird

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Annoyingly I woke up at 4.50 am. Who does that after a night out? I think this is an age thing. By age, I mean getting well old. I remember when I would be borderline coma for a minimum of 12 hours after drinking. Not this pinging wide awake after 3 and a half hours of sleep rubbish.

After dozing for a while, I decided just to get up. Murphy and I headed out and ended up having an extra long walk. It was snowy and lovely and there was hardly anyone else around. The owner of the cafe in the Hermitage looked slightly surprised to see me waiting as he opened up!

The timing turned out to be fortuitous as the weather was pretty rubbish for the rest of the day. I may have needed a snoozette by mid afternoon.
