Garage Ladybug
When the temperatures are just above freezing, you don't really expect to find any insects to photograph. But, yesterday, I found a ladybug hanging out in our garage. At first, I thought it was dead... but it moved {slightly) as the day went on... So, when it was still there in the morning, I scooped her up on a leaf and brought her in for a photoshoot. A nice treat for me, as macro insect shots are my absolute favorite to shoot and winter time certainly doesn't (usually) give me that opportunity. :)))
It was also a test run for a new macro flash. I still need to work on a diffusion method. But it was nice to be able to increase the DOF with the extra light.
