Wide Wednesday

Dusky sound can only be accessed by sea or air and so there is little sign of human presence.  Captain Cook came into Dusky Sound to make repairs to his ship Resolution in 1773.  He explored many of the islands and bays.  We steamed into Earshell Cove and through this narrow entrance into an area called the Basin, a part of Resolution Island.  The high point appeared to be granite.  With the forest coming down to the sea I think it looks as it did 1773.
