Hot and Windy

31 C today and then it got windy.
Many of the visitors to our town are probably ecstatic about the weather but I am not. I need a furl reduction and altho The Boss chucks sticks and I go swimming the effect seems short lived and I prefer my spot in the lounge, under the aircon thingie….

It was a complicated day but it came right at the end with a big wander along the lake front picking our way carefully between the campa vans and other followers of creative parking techniques which would have had early Wanaka folk reaching for their electric fences. Either the sale of sunscreen stuff is booming or there are going to be a lot of seriously sore folk about tomoro.
It seems that furls may be worth it after all.
