Gardens in winter
Went to Anglesey Abbey (N.T. near Cambridge) today. It has lovely gardens all the year but is famous for its winter walk and its large variety of Snowdrops.It was difficult to choose one photo so I have put a couple of extras and also some more on Flickr (link below)
The main pic here is of the Silver Birches - the white bark seems to shine in the sunlight. One extra shows a clump of snowdrops, the other is of the Lode Mill - still working and producing flour which is used in the cafe and sold in the shop.
