St Stephens Bow

This archway in Exeter high street allows you to walk along the small lane known as St Stephens Bow.  Apparently the church of St Stephens which was mentioned in the doomsday book of 1086 at some point wanted to expand and built an extra room above the lane leaving an arch below.

A visit today to Exeter and some shopping.  I then went to the first Zumba class for me this year, very enjoyable.  When I got home we heard from our son who is in London for his first job interview.  He has been offered the job but will decide by tomorrow whether he takes it.  If he does then they want him to start next week so it could be great changes for him soon.
