Turkish cake
It snowed heavily in Ipswich but Carole drov David, his Mum and me to her stepson Ben’s house as it was Ben’s daughter’s first birthday do. Lois and her big brother were so sweet. Ben’s Dad arrived with his current partner and we had time for a short chat and tried to make an arrangement for him to come walking with Mr C and me, Carole was anxious to get me to the station as the snow was lying.
The journey was a bit of a pest. No heating on the train, then we were decanted into a bus at Ingatestone and drob3 to Newbury Park where we got a tube to Liverpool Street Station. Chloe, the lovely friend I met in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. We got a tube and bus to her house in Haringaye. I met her lovely partner and we all walked along the street past all the Turkish restaurants to a Kurdish on where we had a nice dinner.
The Blip is actually a cake in a Turkish bakery we went by on the way out to eat.
