Raining cats & dogs

This morning the rain was torrential but right now as I look out the window I see clear Carolina blue skies.

As the rain was coming down, my two cats curled up in their favourite spots on the back porch.

I did a few small tasks that needed doing today.  I've gotten major frustrated because the US Postal Service website won't let me fill out and print the forms I need to mail the pins to my sister and earrings to my Mum.

Going out to dinner with a good friend from out west who has been in Raleigh interviewing to do his residency at one of the hospitals there.  It's been a while since we have seen him so it will be nice to catch up.
