Rounded Up

These sheep occupy the medieval moat field behind the church at various times in the year. The farmer, or rather his Old English sheepdog, had rounded them all up this morning, but just to check them out, as now they're grazing happily again.
The muddy lanes and some of the big fields are so wet underfoot now, I wonder if we'll be walking through crisp autumn leaves at all this year?
