Where's that draught coming from?

Well that's the question we asked first. It lead to taking up a floorboard to investigate. This is what we found.

The floorboards above are our box room floor. The plasterboard below is our hallway ceiling. The rubbish is what was left by the builders.

The pipes to the radiator explain why a certain white cat likes to lie above them. Needless to say they are now insulated. Also, as the outside wall is not far away, and it is made up of breezeblock and tiles with no cavity, we filled this space with insulation. So, although it took a fair bit of time up, some good did come of feeling that draught!
