Velvet Mite

I am not sure what this little creature is, but it looks like it might be a Red Spider Mite (Tetranychus urticae); I am sure someone will identify it if I am wrong. It was tiny, only about two millimeters long and it was walking along this piece of metal; it did not stay still long enough for me to get a better picture.

Update at 1610 hours. I have changed the title as this has been identified as a Velvet Mite, by angellightphotos, but I have left the information the same in the text.

Update 1630 hours. I went out for a short while and when I came back there appeared to be what looked like an owl on one of the shed roofs. I grabbed the kitchen camera, but did not get a good shot. It is not a very sharp picture, but it looks to me as though it might be a baby Tawny Owl; I could be very wrong!

I shall not change my picture here but I have put it on Flickr, unfortunately I do not seem to be able to add a link to Flickr. For some reason I cannot add it to my Blipfolio either!
