Cutting it up and shredding

The house across the road which had belonged to a very elderly resident has been sold and boy are the new owners doing a lot of work. Today is the tree surgeon's second day working on the oak trees. I don't know if they are cutting down or just trimming. If the latter they will find the tree is reinvigorated. We are lucky having just one beautiful mature oak a proper distance away from the house. Most of the other gardens have oaks too close together so they have grown tall and spindly.
