Shoe Street

Back into the hustle and bustle of Hanoi's crazy old quarter tonight. T. needed to find some new shoes, which you think would be easy enough given the entire street dedicated to shoe shops. However being a size 46 foot in Asia is something of a rarity among the locals and all the shoe styles T. liked were no bigger than 44... Nothing like Asia to make you feel like a clobber foot! I've also started getting used to the fact that I am now an XL or sometimes even an XXL in most clothing items, even though i'd be no more than a medium back home...
