Backblip

After a rubbish night that mostly involved coughing and being awake I was up and at our GP just after 8 with a swollen hand.

Although my history of hives suggested it was probably my immune system having a little glitch while fighting this cold, the amount of swelling alongside ‘feverish’ symptoms meant I wasn’t going to risk possible cellulitis! Fortunately a dose of steroids and time bought us the better diagnosis and it was ‘just’ hives!

I did make it into work and completed my VAT returns for the month so pressure is off there thankfully. Let’s see what tomorrow brings - hopefully no more hives!
