Gales and teeming rain

I think most parts of the UK had some rotten weather this morning. I stayed safely at home until it had eased before going to the gym. It was actually lovely, quieter than first thing, and I had the pool to myself. I love swimming in the rain (but the leaves that had blown into the water were a bit irritating.)

The forecast was for better weather later. It did stop blowing and pouring but it was still damp. At the first touch of sunlight and blue sky, I made the most of my cut daffs on the window ledge. Lidl charmers that have taken all week to open.....
