January Thaw

This was my day to work at home, but before any of that started, I grabbed my purple umbrella and my camera, and walked a short way down the road that runs in front of our house hoping to snag a few photos.

The heavy rain we got on this morning melted most of the rest of the snow. Once again, conditions were ethereal, and I enjoyed the sight of these trees rising up out of the mist, in the midst of a January thaw.
