In the Pink
We rode down the towpath to Vicky Park for coffee. Cor, the wind wozn't 'arf strong. There was a heated debate about which café should be our coffee stop. Allan won the argument and we ended up at the one in the middle of the park.
As we arrived we were greeted by this lady looking smiley in her pink outfit. She can usually be seen peddling around all in green.
Its quite an upmarket hipster caff but I have worked out that you can have a tea and croissant for only 2.5 (they don't use £signs). Whereas another one we stopped at on the way back to shelter from the rain will set you back £4.15 for a coffee and pastry. What fascinated us was that the latter seems to be a destination for young mums from Walthamstow with pushchairs. Nothing wrong with that but it must get pretty pricey for them I would have thought.
Anyway, it was nice to be blasted back by the wind and get into the warm and dry.
