The end of the day

The great lamplighter in the sky has finished his/her work for the day. Meanwhile the mortals try to illuminate their dark world.

The American artist Catherine Opie is of the opinion that the biggest cliché in photography is sunrise and sunset. I hope that the addition of a street lamp has made it rather less so.
