Dining Out

Now that the outdoor bowling is over for the year we have moved inside on Wednesdays. I took Roger with me to meet up with Bernard for lunch. Toby Carveries can be very good value. Quite often they have promotions for two meals for £10.. Today we only paid £4.95 each- even better.. We even managed to resist the very tempting puds.. Plus the homemade, multilayered, family sized cakes looked really delicious !!
The pub itself has been re-opened recently after extensive refurbishment. They have made very tasteful alterations.
