Continuing my occasional series of shots of Edinburgh at night time, here is a shot of the back of the Balmoral Hotel taken  from Jeffrey Street. From this angle you get a better view of the incredible Victorian architecture completed in 1902. Built in the Baronial style by architect William Hamilton Beattie it was originally known as the North British Hotel
