Last Beat day for me

The season is almost over. I can't make next week as I shall be at WI Denman College on a Thai cookery course.
By golly this was a wet experience. It chucked it down all day. We were all struggling to stay motivated by the time the 7th drive came along. It was a fine total considering the conditions and also the surviving birds have become quite canny and often fly very low.
An end of season Beater dinner still to look forward to which will round off an enjoyable new interest for me.
