Room with a view
After a dreadful journey to Cheltenham all went well.
It rained heavily none stop all down the M1, M42 and M5.
There were just a few relatives and friends to celebrate Aunty Kathy’s life.
A lovely tribute read out by one of her granddaughters and a poem by another granddaughter brought tears to my eyes.
The “ funeral tea” was held in a nearby pub.
As with many of these occasions it was lovely to see people we haven’t seen for years.
Much laughter reminiscing about old times.
We then drove to Burford where we stayed overnight.
This is the view from our bedroom window
Lovely higgledy piggledy old houses and rooftops.
See tomorrow’s blip for more photos of Burford.
