Day 2

At the both farm feedings. I had to race this lot to a dry spot to feed them and get at least the first bag out before they got to me. 42 cattle bearing down on you when you are putting feed out for them is quite intimidating. Feeling my back today on our farm we blow the feed in so I only make up bags of 20kg max at the other farm it's in 25kg bags that's just under half my weight and a little much for me to be lifting too far.

Husband helped put a bale with our cows. It helped get his phlegm moving but then he needed the rest of the day to recover. I finally managed to tidy the farmhouse, the porch in particular had got out of hand.
