Spring.....

ish..... on my window sill once again.  Funeral of a dear friend this afternoon.  Very well attended and some heartfelt eulogies resulting in a lot of swallowing and sniffing.   How sad that the grown up children could not acknowledge his partner of 25 years, who has stood by his side and saved them from having to do any of the dirty work nursing him for these last few weeks..... my heart goes out to her....   It was a Church of England service with a lady rabbi also and each gave a meaningful sermon.  Rest in peace Richard.
