Egg Salad

I decided to try out my new instant pot to make hard-cooked eggs today, which led to egg salad for lunch...which led to the Tinies clamoring to be featured as today's Blip.  Turns out that they LOVE eggs.  Who knew?

The instant pot, by the way, turned out perfectly cooked eggs which were a breeze to peel (even without all the tiny helpers).  Usually when I cook hard-boiled eggs on the stove, the shells don't want to let loose, making for a big mess when I peel the eggs.  These just slid off.  

Tech details --- used the 105 macro lens mounted on a tripod and aimed into the soft box where the Tinies were set up to work on the egg.  Seven shots at various focal points, all stacked in Helicon for a decently rendered shot.  

We had a great dinner with our friends last night, and came home with a dozen fresh eggs from their hens - what a treat!  And also a perfect lead-in to today's blip...
