Timelord

This was the first day in a long time when I did no research work, hooray. N went for coffee with a friend, whilst I packed two (smallish) camera bags with the gear that I want to take with me to France.   Then I went out to get some last minute essentials and collected my watch from the man in the photo. The Timelord is my friend, David.  He has rescued, restored, serviced and modified many a watch for me over the years.  Recently he worked his magic on my late dad's old wristwatch.  Serviced, oiled, cleaned, crystal polished and a new crown (winding button), it now sits proudly on my wrist.
