THE MOUSE & THE ELEPHANT
Carmelo Catania took his name from the town where he was born in Sicily. He was a great musician, playing the mandolin & the harp-guitar, but he is most remembered for the instruments that he made. He was a true Sicilian genius!
I had to work on this funny little unclassical "classical" type. It was made in 1948 & you can see from the scratch-plate just how unclassical it is!
Have a sneaky feeling that with a generous dose of TLC, it's going to produce a great sound once again.
