Although he thought he did better... he was still having difficulty keeping his feet together...

A nice, easy and short day at work today... so despite it being 4 C / 39 F and raining hard, I headed over to where the river meets the lake, stood under the one cover, and watched the birds.. 

My mom reports that although my dad is still coughing up stuff.. he was smiling and breathing a bit easier today... So much we don't know how much it is a cold or how much of what he has... 

Rain the next 4 days... yep, a typical Seattle winter.... Headed back to Portland in the morning..
