Diamonds are a girls best friend...........

...........although cake comes a close second. Standards in the nhs are measured by audits and accreditation this means each month the ward is audited to check on knowledge, skills, environment, safety to name but a few aspects. Every year a team of senior nurses are responsible for our accreditation - the last two years we have achieved Gold, that meant that this year we could apply to become a diamond ward -so of course we did, and we were successful.
This afternoon we had a tea party to celebrate.
