The amniocentesis

Today, 26 days after getting the 'at risk' call, we finally had the amniocentesis.

The consultant who carried out the procedure was lovely and really tried to put us at ease (though impossible). She talked us both through everything beforehand and answered all my questions on the risk of miscarriage, how long the results will take etc.
