Hermione Hyacinth

Sometimes, beautiful flowers inspire names and this beautiful Hyacinth made me think of Hermione, daughter of King Menelaus of Sparta and Helen of Troy. Aren't you pleased you know that?!

The three planted bulbs in a pot have just come into bloom on my little round table next to the window!  I do love having flowers near me when I sit on my couch to read or crochet!

The lighting is bad this morning as the sky is grey again and I needed to boost my ISO to get this shot.
